  • Program Architect (Program Manager)

    FULL-TIME - New York, NY

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting directly to the Client Partner, Events & Experiences, the Program Architect is responsible for delivering amazing experiences for the agency’s corporate partners and their customers. Primary responsibilities include managing and coordinating all McDonald’s education programs, from strategy and planning, to execution and post-event reconciliation.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Serve as day-to-day contact for client, creating agendas and attending all necessary calls and in-person meetings
    • Manage the McDonald’s Education Workshop Series, leading program growth and attending all workshops as key on-site contact
    • Manage inaugural McDonald’s/APIA scholarship program with objective to grow and develop into annual program
    • Support and in some cases lead McDonald’s activations-related events/projects under the direction of the Client Partner, Events & Experiences
    • Working with the Client Partner to manage program workflow and program budget
    • Building and developing key community partnerships to grow and amplify brand presence in education space
    • Coordinate Activations-related production, including planning, logistics coordination, vendor management, event staffing, décor, setup, teardown and routine event preparation items (i.e. ordering event supplies, catering, giveaways, marketing materials, etc.)
    • Develop and coordinate multiple projects on-time and on-budget
    • Work effectively across creative, PR, advertising and other relevant internal teams
    • Serve as on-site event manager, and liaison with vendors and production crews
    • Understand floor plans, basic CAD drawings, and conducting event space walkthroughs
    • Communicate with clients and relevant internal staff at all times leading up to, during, and after program activations (may include nights and weekends)
    • Attend and present at client meetings
    • Negotiate sponsorships and partnership contracts
    • Coordinate packing/shipping of event materials
    • Budget management and reconciliation for all events
    • Post-event recap and reconciliation

     OTHER FUNCTIONS:

    • Engage in professional and community organizations related to the agency’s and client’s business/industry
    • Other production duties as assigned 

     

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Advertising or a related field of study required 

    Experience:

    • Five to seven (5-7) years of administrative and event coordination experience, preferably in an agency

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to collaborate with other experts on the team, to solidify and strengthen ideas.
    • Must be resourceful, creative and efficient in getting work accomplished and ensure successful delivery, and execution.
    • Excellent budgeting and negotiation skills.

  • PR & Activations Manager (Publicist)

    FULL-TIME - Los Angeles or New York

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President & Chief Content Officer, the PR & Activations Manager (Publicist) is a PR maven with an existing Rolodex of A-list editorial contacts across the entertainment, technology and lifestyle industries. Individual should be able to hit the ground running and secure major coverage out of the gate.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    ·         Write compelling pitches and press releases that generate coverage from major media outlets.

    ·         Pitch earned media opportunities for entertainment / tech / lifestyle clients.

    ·         Build and maintain successful relationships with media, industry leaders, networks and organizations, including community involvement.

    ·         Manage publicity campaigns from soup-to-nuts (i.e. from strategy through execution).

    ·         Lead earned and paid influencer outreach initiatives.

    ·         Develop influencer and digital content ideas. 

    ·         Recommend PR stunts and non-traditional newsmaking activities.

    ·         Coordinate events, big and small.

    ·         Promote activations through ground-up PR campaigns.

    ·         Manage client meetings and deliverables. 

     

    OTHER FUNCTIONS:

    Engage in professional and community organizations related to the agency’s and client’s business/industry.Other related duties as assigned. 

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    ·         Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field of study required.

    ·         3-5 years of experience at a boutique or mid-sized PR agency.

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    ·         Experience securing national media coverage for clients. 

    ·         Work with Asian language and/or ethnic media outlets. 

    ·         Deep understanding of US media landscape -- both traditional and social media.

    ·         Enthusiastic and hands-on, with the ability to concept, sell and articulate a great idea.

    ·         Extremely organized and detail-oriented.

    IW Group is currently seeking a mid-level Producer to support the Agency in all aspects of broadcast production to the highest professional level.

      

    Essential Duties:

    • Be responsible for all original work and overflow transadaptation projects.
    • Source production resources -- directors, editors, production companies, animation companies, visual effects, music/sound effects resources.
    • Oversee all Business Affairs.
    • Manage workflow and scheduling between Production and other Agency Departments; working closely with Project Managers.

     

    Other Duties:

    • Internal trafficking (scripts, boards, translations, updates,).
    • External trafficking (spots to stations, clients).
    • Purchase Order/Invoice processing.
    • Shoot and post support if needed (covering sessions if required).
    • Maintain working folders, files, oversee historical backup of jobs and spots.
    • Oversee production on internal videos, smaller productions.
    • Close out production jobs on a timely basis.

     

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Advertising or a Production related field of study required. 
    • Years of Experience: 3-5 years, preferably in an advertising/PR agency.

     

    Special skills/knowledge required:

    • Agency experience required.
    • Experience producing Original commercial work (a plus, but not required).
    • Transadaptation experience preferred.

    Interns who commit to IW Group’s Internship Program will finish the internship with broad experience in multicultural marketing.  Our agency produces quality work for major local, regional and national clients. We provide Interns with the opportunity to participate in various stages of IW Group’s marketing communications campaigns. Interns can apply their classroom studies to our agency while gaining valuable hands-on experience and do it all while having fun!
