#WashTheHate

As part of the #WashTheHate campaign, countless leaders, celebrities, and influencers like Tzi Ma (Mulan), Celia Au (Wu Assassins), and Carol Lim (Opening Ceremony) have shared their personal stories on the impact of the pandemic, while also encouraging everyone to wash their hands to help fight the virus. The campaign has transformed into a worldwide movement that has raised awareness about Covid-19-related discrimination against Asian Americans and encouraged solidarity across all communities.

With original content across social platforms and wasthehate.com, the campaign has reached over 350 million people and has been covered in over 150 publications. Media outlets like The Associated Press, Time, Good Morning America, and ABC News have also taken notice.  

Moreover, influential community organizations, such as the Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF) and Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC) have helped to amplify #WashTheHate’s message to the Asian community and beyond.
