Blending Western holiday traditions with Eastern cultural pastimes, the McRib Caroloke Experience brought festive cheer to AAPI communities while celebrating the return of the McRib. A double-decker Caroloke Bus, featuring a 14-person choir and karaoke screen, toured neighborhoods in Los Angeles and New York, entertaining crowds with McRib-themed holiday classics like Deck the Buns and O McRib Sauce. Spectators joined in the fun while brand ambassadors distributed McRib merchandise and gift cards, driving engagement and foot traffic to McDonald’s. The campaign generated over 10 million social impressions in just four days, covered 20 neighborhoods, and led to 3,700+ McDonald’s app downloads via QR code.
